The Southern Architects Group has consistently organized an annual overseas study tour for professionals in the architecture field from Southern Thailand. This program aims to enhance the participants’ experience, skills, and knowledge, while also providing opportunities to study the history and development of architecture. The knowledge gained from these tours is intended to be beneficial for the architects in their professional practice.
For the year 2024, the Southern Architects Group has scheduled a study tour to Malacca and Johor Bahru in Malaysia, as well as Singapore. The tour will take place from August 10th to 13th, 2024.
Malacca is a city rich in history, with architecture that reflects a fascinating blend of various cultures. Participants will have the opportunity to study the unique architectural styles and the management of this UNESCO World Heritage site, making it a significant destination for architects worldwide.
Johor Bahru is a rapidly growing city with modern infrastructure and architectural development. This presents an excellent opportunity for participants to explore contemporary urban development concepts and designs that meet the needs of today’s society.
Singapore is one of the most modern cities and a hub of architectural innovation in the region. Participants will learn about environmentally friendly architecture and sustainable design, which are critical trends in the current architectural landscape.
